Broccoli Quiche

Broccoli, feta cheese, onion

Ready in 1 hr (20 min preparation + 40 min cooking)

Ingredients:

Filling

300 g broccoli
200 g feta cheese
150 g smoked bacon
2 onion
1 bell pepper
Eggs/cream mixture:
3 eggs
200 g cream (either sour cream or cream cheese)
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Pastry

2 glasses of flour
150 g butter
3-4 tablespoons of water
pinch of salt

CONVERT

Directions:

Pastry:

- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees C. Prepare the pastry – cut butter to little cubes, add flour and a bit of cold water. Mix

with hands until even. If possible put in fridge for 30 minutes. Press pastry into a quiche dish (24cm – 28cm) and pre-bake for

12 minutes in oven.

Filling:

- Saute bacon for a qouple of minutes on a skillet. Remove bacon and add chopped

broccoli, onions and bell pepper. Cook slowly, stirring occasionally until the vegetables are soft. Layer broccoli mixture on

bacon and cover with eggs/cream mixture. Bake at 200 degrees C for 40 minutes, or until the custard has completely

set.

    I wish I’d add the smoked salmon but didn’t have any! Should be tasty !!!
