Ingredients:

Filling

400 g minced meat
3-4 (4dl) carrots
100 g blue cheese
3-4 onions
Eggs/cream mixture:
4 eggs
200 g cream (either sour cream or cream cheese)
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Pastry

2 glasses of flour
150 g butter
3-4 tablespoons of water
pinch of salt

Directions:

Pastry:

- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees C. Prepare the pastry – cut butter to little cubes, add a bit cream, flour and mix with hands until even. If possible put in fridge for 30 minutes. Press pastry into a quiche dish (24cm – 28cm) and pre-bake for 12 minutes in oven.

Filling:

- Stew grated carrots and minced meat on a skillet for 15-20 minutes, add chopped onion a bit later. Place the mixture on a pastry and cover with eggs/cream mixture. Bake at 200 degrees C for 40 minutes, or until the custard has completely set.
